“The wines deserve a special mention. We tasted the rosé wine from the ‘Bodega Burgmann’, with a very small production from vineyards located in the municipality of Tacoronte, in Tenerife, very close to the sea. They are owned by Marc Rochefort, a Canadian who has been living in the Canary Islands for a few years. “You can tell he’s not a Canary Islander, he doesn’t make wine in the usual way”, José explains. He also highlights its “salinity, minerality and terroir“, with “those trade winds that hit the vines. It is a very fresh wine”.
